Goal: Provide an atmosphere of quiet contemplation and a safe environment to embark on slowly learning the ways of rejuvenation of body, soul, spirit and emotion.
Objective: Guide women in ways to see their worth and the importance of "being" versus "doing". Showing balance IS a possibility in our lives.
Outcome: Relaxation and Renewal so women can meet their obligations with a clearer picture of self-care. Creating energy for living more abundantly.
I'm Kathy Corn and I want to give you
some background on myself and these unique gatherings I facilitate for women. I am a Christian woman with
life experiences and education that brings credibility to my leadership, as I guide retreat participants.
I am an abuse survivor, a cancer survivor and have healed from an emotional breakdown in my forties. Married for 56 years, my husband and I have four grown children and six grandchildren. I received a degree in Liberal Arts from UMKC after my children were grown. I have worked in the field of developmental disabilities and am now dedicated to facilitating gentle retreats for women. These retreats are my way of sharing
my success story of healing and God's grace.
I have led retreats in a variety of venues, including: YMCA of the Ozarks; CQ Women's Groups in my home for five years; Hope Lodge in Rochester, MN; Maple Woods Community College for Adults with developmental disabilities; Bethel United Church of Christ Women's Group in Kansas City.
Peace, Kathy
